The Following is a list of adventures that are part of your CR experience. We update our list of opportunities periodically and as a result your group may be involved in some ministry that is not listed. All schedules are subject to availability at the time of your adventure.
Introduction to the Country. We will give you an orientation tothe country, city, and church where you will be working. We will also help you become acquainted with the Latin culture.
Church Services. We will attend at least one local church service. You will have time to be involved with and to get to know the Latin American Christians.
Children’s ministry. Your group will have a chance to prepare and present several Kids clubs in varied areas of the city in which you will be working.
Service Projects. Bring along your work clothes. You will have a chance to serve the church and people with whom you are working with your hands and sweat.
Orphanage ministry. (available to those who serve in the central mesa) We will have a chance to work with and for several orphanages in the central area of CR.
Prayer Walks. Experience how God wants to use you to make a difference in Costa Rica, as well as your own community. See how powerful prayer is on the streets and how “un-optional” it is.
Servant Evangelism. We will be involved in “showing the love of Jesus in practical ways.” Different from service projects this could involve anything from handing out pop to cleaning toilets.
Street Evangelism. Your team will be completely prepared to do drama and sharetheir testimony in an open-air environment.
The Formula with which we like to work is a mix of four core
activities:
-40% Service projects and Servant evangelism
-25% Children’s ministry
-25% Street evangelism
-10% Relating to the National Church (all ministry will be relating to the national
church)

Family Adventures
At Pura Vida Missions we believe that it is not only important for us to teach our families about missions, but even more effective if we can take them on a mission trip. Therefore, we have put together a package for families that wraps elements of our trademark training with missions and a bit of family vacation. Come and give your family an intensive life-changing experience in missions.
Student Adventures (Christian School Trips)
Pura Vida Missions hosts Christian school groups who are looking for mission trips that provide an educational missions experience with life-long impact. Our goal is to see your students gain a new global worldview while serving in missions and receiving an education.
Church Group Trips
We can custom design a trip for any type of group that you bring us. You can give us your ideas and we, drawing from years of experience can design you a mission trip keeping your specific group in mind. We host many different types of groups:
Men´s Groups: Bring your men’s group to be involved with Project Guarari or Nehemiah teams (church construction teams).
Couples Groups: Get together a group of couples who are interested in ministering together in a cross-cultural setting.
Young Adult Groups: Round up your young adult group that has interest in growing as disciples and serving in cross-cultural settings.
Bible Study or Small Groups: A mission trip will always bring a new sense of community and purpose to your Small group or Bible study.
Youth Groups: Youth groups are the primary trips PVM leads and we set aside several weeks during the summer months to only lead Youth Group Adventures.
Corporate Adventures
Take this opportunity to get out of the office for a week or more and come serve in Costa Rica. Bring any business group, board, or group of employees and we'll plan your trip.
Or just get together a bunch of friends and bring them to PVM for a Mission Experience!
