Disciple Adventures PDF Print E-mail

PVM will design a trip and host any type of group that you would like to bring on a mission trip. Here are examples of groups that we host on a regular basis:

  • CORPORATE or BUSINESS groups:

PVM enjoys hosting groups that come to us from businesses. The type of trip that we would typically design for such a group is a five to seven day trip based around a “humanitarian” project. Therefore, it usually includes a “work or service” project coupled with meeting the needs of a specific community. La Cuenca Project is a popular place for these type of groups to be involved (see VidaNet’s DaVida section for more information). Our goal always is discipleship and missions and so through this type of a trip we hope to see “nominal” Christians challenged to growth and new disciples made through regular daily input.

  • SCHOOL groups:

PVM also designs and hosts trips for Christian schools who are looking for a cross-cultural missions and learning experience for their students. School trips are usually five to fourteen day trips that combine the following aspects: Cultural relationships, Missions, Community Service, and Educational knowledge. Our summer youth adventures model and program is also available to school groups at other times of the year.

  • CHURCH groups:

Get together just about any group: small group, men’s group, couples group, father and son group, young adult group, sports teams, or just a bunch of friends. Call or email us and let us know what your dates are and what type of a trip you are looking for and we will design a trip for you that we know will bring you closer to the father and give you an excellent cross-cultural experience.

  • FAMILY groups:

Families are special to PVM. We believe that it is not important to simply talk about the importance of missions and need in the world, but it is even better for us to take our families to be part of the “action.” Typically families come to PVM in groups from a specific church or ministry. The days can be mixed between vacation activities and hands-on ministry for all ages. Call us to talk about the possibilities.
